Tyler holds his Associate of Science with a focus in engineering from Moraine Valley Community College and will graduate from Governors State University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology this fall. He actively holds certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Coalition for Education’s Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator (CCRE), and is a Certified Cisco Networking Academy Instructor. He has directly managed our cybersecurity-focused summer camps, classroom and district-wide integrations of cybersecurity, secure device/network infrastructure design and upgrades, as well as performs technical cybersecurity evaluations for the district every day. He is continuously learning new ways to increase the cybersecurity posture throughout the district by staying up to date with cybersecurity best practices, threats, and vulnerabilities.
